Here I am at the 3rd module. Mod 1 and 2 hv been wonderful. As a complete newbie at stock and options trading I’m still wondering which of the indices I shud really concentrate on practicing with as I save my 5k entry capital that I will eventually start with. Should I practice staging a trade with the spx, the es, the vix or some other index or everything? I remember learning that each index has a starting capital consideration. That’s not very clear for me yet. I hope this module will make that clearer and also educate me on how and when to trigger my trades
As a new trader you shouldn’t have the slightest thought of putting that capital at risk until you are 100% confident in your routine and process, and knowledge of the strategy. And then when you are there, you should start very small, perhaps with the XSP. Until then you can practice in analyze more or paper money with the full-sized SPX index and E-mini S&P futures (ES).
Looking forward to my White Belt 🙂
